Write For Us

Contribute to Technology Blogspot — how-to guides, SaaS reviews, green tech, and emerging technology.

Technology Blogspot publishes content that readers actually use — step-by-step guides they follow to build something, comparison articles they reference when choosing software, and technology explainers they share because they genuinely make complex topics clear. That kind of content requires writers who know their subject from practical experience — not just writers who can describe it.

If you are a technology practitioner, SaaS professional, green technology researcher, software developer, or education technology specialist with something genuinely useful to say, we want to hear from you.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Software developers and engineers who can write practical how-to guides based on real implementation experience
  • SaaS professionals who evaluate and use the tools they are writing about
  • Green technology practitioners — EV owners, solar installers, sustainability researchers — who write from experience
  • Emerging technology researchers who can distinguish genuine breakthroughs from hype, and explain both clearly
  • Education technology developers or educators with hands-on experience of the platforms they cover
  • Digital marketers and SEO professionals with data-backed insights to share

Writing skill is important. Domain expertise is essential. We can help a genuine expert become a better writer — we cannot help a good writer fake expertise.

Topics We Accept

How-To Guides and Tutorials

  • Step-by-step software setup, configuration, and troubleshooting guides
  • Developer tutorials for tools, APIs, frameworks, or cloud platforms
  • Practical productivity system guides — tested and genuinely usable
  • App development walkthroughs with actual code or implementation detail

SaaS and Cloud Tools

  • Hands-on SaaS tool reviews based on real usage — not marketing copy
  • Platform comparisons with specific, verifiable criteria and real testing
  • Cloud storage, project management, and business automation guides
  • Cost-benefit analyses of switching between SaaS tools

Green Technology

  • Electric vehicle ownership guides — charging, range, maintenance, costs
  • Solar energy installation guides and real-world performance assessments
  • Sustainable technology product reviews based on hands-on experience
  • Environmental impact assessments of technology products and platforms

Emerging Technology

  • Explainers on quantum computing, AR/MR, advanced AI, or biotechnology for a non-specialist audience
  • Analysis of emerging tech developments with evidence-based perspective
  • Distinguishing hype from genuine progress in specific technology areas

Education Technology

  • Reviews of online learning platforms or educational apps based on real use
  • eLearning development guides for educators and developers
  • Analysis of AI’s role in education — benefits, limitations, and evidence

Topics We Do Not Accept

  • Generic lists without original research, testing, or perspective
  • Product promotion disguised as editorial content
  • Cryptocurrency investment advice or financial speculation
  • Gambling, adult, or legally problematic content
  • Content that has been published or substantially mirrored elsewhere — we check
  • AI-generated content — we use detection tools on every submission
  • Content written by someone without genuine expertise in the topic

Content Quality Standards

Length and Depth

  • Minimum 1,500 words — 2,000–2,500 words for how-to guides and in-depth reviews
  • Content must go significantly deeper than the top results already ranking for the topic
  • Practical specificity is required — ‘install the software’ is not enough; include every step, every command, every setting that matters

Technical Accuracy

  • All technical instructions must be verified against current official documentation
  • Include the software version or platform version your guide applies to
  • Source all statistics, benchmarks, and technical claims from primary sources
  • Include working links to documentation or sources within the article

Originality

  • Content must be 100% original and not published elsewhere
  • Must be written by the named human author — we run AI detection on all submissions
  • The author must have genuine, verifiable expertise in the topic

Formatting and Readability

  • Clear H2 and H3 subheadings throughout the article
  • Short paragraphs of 2–4 sentences
  • Code blocks for any code snippets — properly formatted
  • Step numbers for sequential instructions
  • Screenshots or descriptions of what readers should see at each step of how-to guides

What Contributors Receive

  • One do-follow author bio link to your website, LinkedIn, or professional portfolio
  • Author byline on the published article with a short bio (up to 100 words)
  • Social media promotion of your published article to our audience
  • The credibility of publication on an established, independently operated technology publication

We do not currently pay for guest posts. We do not accept payment for editorial placement — decisions are merit-based.

Link Policy

  • One do-follow bio link included with every accepted guest post
  • Contextual in-body links are permitted where they link to genuinely useful, authoritative resources — official documentation, primary research, or useful tools
  • Commercial contextual link placements are a paid service — see our Advertise With Us page
  • We do not include do-follow links to commercial landing pages within editorial content

How to Submit a Pitch

  1. Email contact@technologyblogspot.com with the subject: ‘Guest Post Proposal — [Your Topic Title]’
  2. Include a working title and 100–150 word outline of your proposed article
  3. Include links to 2–3 published writing samples — ideally on technology topics
  4. Briefly explain your background: your job, relevant experience, and why you are qualified to write on this topic

Do not send a completed article without a prior pitch. We review pitches first and invite full submissions only for topics that fit our editorial calendar and standards.

After You Submit

  • Pitch review: within 5 business days
  • If accepted: we will invite the full article with guidance on angle, depth, and formatting
  • Full article review: within 7 business days of submission
  • We may request one or more rounds of revision before accepting an article
  • Publication: typically within 3–4 weeks of final editorial approval

Our Standards in Plain Terms

We accept a small percentage of the pitches we receive. Not because we want to be difficult, but because our readers rely on our how-to guides and technology reviews to accomplish real things. A step-by-step guide that does not work, a SaaS review written without hands-on experience, or a green technology piece that misrepresents the data — these things damage the trust our readers place in us.

The contributors who succeed with us bring something real: a piece of expertise, a data point, a technique, or a perspective that cannot be easily found anywhere else. If that is you, we look forward to your pitch.

Send to contact@technologyblogspot.com. We look forward to reading it.
